The first phase: electronics and home appliances, lighting, vehicles and accessories, machinery, hardware tools, building materials, chemical products, energy.
The second issue: daily consumer goods, sanitary ware, gifts, home decorations.
The third phase: textiles and clothing, shoes, office bags and leisure supplies, medicine and medical care, and food.

Hosting organization
The permanent organization responsible for the organization, management and hosting of the Canton Fair was established in March 1957. It was called the China Export Commodity Exhibition Hall and was changed to the trade fair organization in 1968. In April 1979, the State Council approved the change of the trade fair organization into an enterprise and renamed it Guangzhou Foreign Trade Center. In July 1988, it was renamed China Foreign Trade Center (Group). In March 2001, the institutional part of China Foreign Trade Center (Group) was changed to China Foreign Trade Center as an institution directly under the Ministry of Commerce.
