On the morning of November 5th, the second Yuhuan International Plumbing and Valve Exhibition, with the theme of "Focusing on Domestic Intelligent Manufacturing and Releasing Foreign Trade Vitality", grandly opened at the Yuhuan City Convention and Exhibition Center.
Guests from all directions gathered in celebration, while merchants from all over the world gathered for business opportunities, witnessing the innovative development of the Yuhuan plumbing valve industry embark on a new chapter.
40 years ago, the first ball valve sample "landed" on Liusha Island, and the presence of Yuhuan quietly appeared on the national valve map. In 2003, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association awarded Yuhuan the title of "China Hardware and Building Materials (Valve) Export Base". That same year, Yuhuan was also awarded the title of "China Valve Capital", establishing its position in the domestic water and heating valve industry. "China Valve Capital" resounded both domestically and internationally.
Currently, there are over 1,300 enterprises in the Yuhuan water and heating valve industry with an annual output value of over 40 billion yuan, holding over 25% of the domestic and foreign market share. There are 76 national-level high-tech enterprises, and products are exported to over 130 countries and regions. In 2022, the self-operated export reached 23.17 billion yuan, accounting for "half of the country" in Yuhuan's foreign trade exports. The successful hosting of the first Yuhuan International Water and Heating Valve Exhibition in 2022 has propelled the Yuhuan water and heating valve industry to a new level.
The second Yuhuan International Plumbing and Valve Exhibition lasted for three days. It featured a total of 515 international standard booths and attracted over 300 domestic companies to exhibit. The products on display covered four major areas including copper valves, plumbing hardware, pipe fittings, and supporting products. The exhibition included over 100 different subcategories and showcased more than 1,000 products. The exhibition covered an area of 20,000 square meters.
This exhibition coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese export base for plumbing valves in Yuhuan. During the exhibition, there will also be multiple events such as the "International Procurement Matchmaking Conference for Plumbing Valves", "Quality Analysis and Seminar on Furniture Industry by China Consumer Product Quality and Safety Promotion Association", "Copper Valve and Industrial/Water Conservancy Valve Industry Exchange Conference", and "Bathroom Hardware Product Design and Innovation Salon". These events provide opportunities for sharing business opportunities, seeking common development, and creating a shared future.
As of November 7th, the total number of domestic and foreign attendees reached over 15,000, a growth of 25% from last year. The on-site transaction volume exceeded 33 million yuan, a growth of 43% from last year. Preliminary orders of over 73 million yuan were reached, an increase of 12% from last year. The effectiveness of the supply and procurement docking was significantly improved compared to the previous session.
